-
Select Shopware.
-
Enter your API_URL, Access key ID, and Secret access key into the corresponding fields in the Connection popup, then click Connect.
After you've completed the connection steps, the store's Settings page will open. You can adjust your store-specific settings like branding and customer notifications, if you wish. Or click Save to close.
Alternatively, you can connect Shopware to ShipStation by installing the ShipStation plug-in to your Shopware account. These steps require you to open two browsers to log into Shopware and ShipStation.
-
Log in to Shopware as an admin user.
-
Click Extensions, then Store in the sidebar.
-
Search for the "ShipStation" plug-in, then click on the tile to Add Extension.
-
Open Extensions and go to the ShipStation tab in the sidebar once the plug-in is installed.
-
Scroll to the bottom and select Start a Free Trial. You can create a new ShipStation account or log in with your existing credentials from that link.
This Step is Optional But Recommended
If you skip this step, you'll need to get the access key for an existing user with admin privileges to connect Shopware with ShipStation. This is found in your Shopware admin account by clicking Settings > System > Users & permissions
.
-
Go to
Settings > System > Users & permissions
. -
Click the Create new user button.
-
Create a new Shopware user, which will be used just for ShipStation. Toggle Administrator on. Click the Save button.
-
Select Create access key on this same screen.
-
Save the Access key ID and Secure access key. You'll need it to connect to ShipStation in the next step. Click Save integration.
-
Click Save in the new user profile.
-
Go to
Settings > Selling Channels > Store Setup
. -
Click Connect a Store.
-
Type Shopware into the search bar. The Shopware icon will appear. Click Connect.

Fill out the connection details with the following from your Shopware admin page:
-
API Url - Copy your complete store URL from the search bar. Be sure the path /api is appended to the end.
-
Access key ID
-
Secure access key
-
-
Click Connect.
