New Zealand Post is the mainstream package/freight and delivery service for New Zealand. You can connect your NZ Post account to ShipStation so you can create NZ Post labels for your parcels.

An active account with New Zealand Post
New Zealand Post Account Number
New Zealand Post Site ID (Ask your NZ Post account manager if you don't have this information.)
New Zealand Post Username and Password for exclusive use with a ShipStation account
When you signed up with New Zealand Post, you may also have signed up with eShip, New Zealand Post’s free shipping software. You cannot use the same username you have already with eShip or any other shipping platform with ShipStation.
You must create a second, brand-new username with New Zealand Post and have it linked to our client_id. Once you have done that, you can connect to our platform with those new credentials.
To create a new username specific to ShipStation, please email email@example.com with this text:
“Hello! May I please have a username configured for Parcel Label usage on the ShipStation
client_id for my account number of [enter your account number here]. Thank you!”
Please contact ShipStation support if NZ Post requests the ShipStation Client ID.
To connect your NZ Post account to ShipStation:
Click the Add a Provider Account button.
Select the New Zealand Post tile and click Connect.
Enter your New Zealand Post Username and Password, and choose an Account Nickname for you to identify the carrier account in ShipStation.
Once you have connected your account to ShipStation, New Zealand Post will send a list of ALL available services back to ShipStation, regardless of your contract availability.
Please disable any service that you do not plan to use. To enable or disable services in ShipStation, go to
Settings > Shipping > Carriers and Fulfillment Settings > New Zealand Post. See our Edit Services and Package Types article for more details.
ShipStation's integration with NZ Post supports the following standard features:
Voiding labels in ShipStation does not actually “void” with NZ Post. You will not be charged until the label is scanned.

How to troubleshoot or resolve
New Zealand does not have state designations and instead uses greater City/Town areas to categorise. To successfully create a label for a Domestic Shipment, the Town + PostCode combination must match.
