NZ Post Domestic Requirements

Connection Requirements:

  • An active NZ Post Business 'on account'

  • NZ Post Account Number

  • NZ Post Site ID (Ask your NZ Post account manager if you don't have this information.)

  • NZ Post Username and Password for exclusive use with a ShipStation account

NZ Post requires a unique username not associated with any other Third-Party Shipping Platform.

When you signed up with NZ Post, you may have also registered for a shipping platform. You cannot use the same username you have already with any other shipping platform in ShipStation.

You must create a second, brand-new username with NZ Post and have it linked to our client_id. Once you have done that, you can connect to our platform with those new credentials.

To create a new username specific to ShipStation, please email techsupport@nzpost.co.nz with this text:

Hello! May I please have a username configured for Parcel Label usage on the ShipStation client_id for my account number of [enter your account number here]. Thank you!

Please contact ShipStation support if NZ Post requests the ShipStation Client ID.
