The following Hotkeys & Barcode Scan Actions reports are now available in the new layout of ShipStation:
-
Hotkey Reference Sheet

These reports detail available keyboard commands (“hotkeys”) and scannable barcodes that can help you perform certain actions in ShipStation faster including importing your orders, printing documents, and creating labels.
To generate these sheets, go to Insights > Reports
and select one of the above from the Hotkey & Barcode Scan Actions section.

We've enhanced several features you may already be using in ShipStation. These enhancements range from simple interface design (as with the Rate Calculator) to new processes to accomplish old tasks (as with splitting and combining orders).
Read through the updates to get an idea of what this updated functionality includes. Each section will include a link to the full documentation about that feature, in case you want to learn all the details.
In the new ShipStation layout, you no longer have to manually remove an order from the On Hold status to ship it. Click the Create + Print Label button to create a label for the On Hold order and move it to the Shipped status.

You can now also move an On Hold order back to Awaiting Shipment by selecting the order and clicking the new Remove Hold button.

In the new ShipStation layout, you can now add a Scan to View barcode to your Order Summaries in your Document Options settings.

You can now sort the Shipments grid by the following columns in the new ShipStation layout:
-
Batch (Batch #)
-
Carrier
-
City
-
Confirmation (Shipment confirmation type)
-

-

-

-

When you create labels for multiple selected orders without creating a batch, ShipStation will now automatically split the orders into multiple batches by Ship From Location.
If all of the orders share the same Ship From Location, they will all be in a single batch.
Additionally, the Label Batch Status screen now displays multiple batches at once when a batch is automatically split by Ship From Location.
