CouriersPlease is Australia’s leading franchised parcel delivery service, delivering over 19 million small parcels each year. When you integrate your CouriersPlease account with ShipStation, you can create labels for both domestic and international shipments, manage your return label needs, and cover all shipments with CouriersPlease carrier insurance.

CouriersPlease Requirements

Connection Requirements:

Connect a CouriersPlease account to ShipStation

To connect your CouriersPlease account to ShipStation:

  1. Go to Account Settings.

  2. Select Shipping, then choose Carriers from the sidebar.

  3. Click the Your Carrier Accounts tab.

  4. Click the Add Carrier button.

  5. Select CouriersPlease and click Connect.

    Couriers Please logo, on tile with button that reads, "Connect".

  6. Enter your CourierPlease Account Number and API Key. Then enter an Account Nickname for you to identify the carrier account in ShipStation.

  7. Click Connect.

CouriersPlease Additional Features

ShipStation's integration with CouriersPlease allows for the following additional features:

Feature

Description

Supports shipping dangerous goods

If your CouriersPlease shipment contains dangerous goods, check the option for “This package contains dangerous goods” under Other Shipping Options. Be sure to select the Dangerous Goods Type and an Emergency Contact also.

This carrier may have other requirements when shipping dangerous goods. Check with your account representative to understand what qualifies as dangerous goods and any requirements your carrier may have for these shipments.

Carrier Insurance

CouriersPlease supports insurance coverage for both domestic and international shipments ($100 excess per claim). Visit the CouriersPlease Parcel Protect page for more information.

Supports pickup scheduling

CouriersPlease offers pickup services for both domestic and international shipments. This means you can schedule a pickup using the ShipStation pickup scheduling feature for parcels that need to be delivered within Australia or sent to international destinations.

The carrier can be used to create domestic shipping labels.

The carrier can be used to create international shipping labels.

ShipStation will submit international customs declarations electronically to the carrier.

The carrier can be used to create domestic return labels.

ShipStation will display estimated shipping rates for the carrier based on the connected account information and shipment details.

Shipment insurance, provided by the shipment's selected carrier, can be added to the shipment in ShipStation. This insurance would be in addition to any default coverage already provided by that carrier.

Shipping labels created for this carrier will include a tracking number that can be used to view the shipment status on the carrier's tracking website. Tracking may not be available for all shipping services.

ShipStation can close the day's shipments for the carrier and submit the manifest electronically. The End of Day process may be mandatory or optional, based on the carrier and your account with them. A printable file may or may not be available when submitted electronically - see End of Day (PDF).

This carrier can be used to create multi-package shipments, where multiple labels are created for a single shipment and the individual packages are linked together in a single shipment record with a master tracking number.

You can connect this carrier to ShipStation multiple times using different accounts and choose which account will be used to create each shipment.

  • As of January 2023, there is a temporary fuel surcharge in place by CouriersPlease. The surcharge will not be included in CouriersPlease rates returned by ShipStation but will appear on your invoices from CouriersPlease.
